Thanksgiving Celebrations

Happy Thanksgiving-LATE!!
This year I am most thankful for my family, for our health, and for our Love. I know that is kind of vage but there have been many small things that have come up lately that have made me especially grateful for these things this year.

We had Thanksgiving with Mike's parents, Grandpa and sister! We started a new tradition this year! Turkey Pinata!!!

We had so much fun. The turkey was really hard to break though. We started out all laughing and not giving it our best effort then we started to get really aggressive in the end. It finally broke and there was candy everywhere!

When the candy was finally out we gathered it up and then threw it at each other again! haha. It was WAR!!!

I'm sure they will find candy for many months to come. We were all laughing very hard and Seppi sure loved it too!

Mike's mom really out did herself on the food, IT WAS AMAZING!!

What a happy and fun Thanksgiving we had!!!

Santa - Ho Ho HO

Waiting to see Santa!! We were so excited!

Seppi was saying "santa- Ho Ho Ho" the whole 45 minute wait. When we FINALLY got to the front of the line, he went right to him and said "Ho Ho Ho" on his lap! Santa thought he was very cute!

I don't think I'll ever be too old to get in a photo with this holly jolly guy!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

Movie Night!

We had a fun family movie night last Friday. We rented Toy Story 3.

made a fort out of blankets.

Had dinner, popcorn and sprite all while watching the movie in our fort!
It was a lot of fun. Seppi really liked the movie too.

Wheeler Farm

I can't believe I went the whole summer without going to Wheeler Farm. I had no idea it was FREE... guess what IT IS!!

Seppi has been really into Farm animals in his books. He can now say all the animal sounds. Going to the Farm totally reinforced his ability to say what these animals say! He is so funny!

We had so much fun, it was such a nice day!

HOORAY for FREE fun with kids. No wonder my mom took us to the Farm so much! haha. I had no idea!

Halloween- late but Great!

Happy Halloween... I finally got around to blogging about our Halloween holiday.

Mike- as Shaggy from scooby do, Corie- a clown, Jeseppi - a tiger!

We went up to Bear Lake to trick-or-treat around the cabins at the KOA. They said they were going to start passing out candy at 7 so we got there at 6:30 thinking we had plenty of time. But, when we got there they were just finishing up. We got maybe 10-12 pieces of candy. haha. thank goodness Seppi didn't care! Seppi Loved dressing up as a tiger this year. He wanted to wear it all the time and would look in the mirror and "roar."
Even though we missed the trick-or-treating, we had a lot of fun up at Bear Lake. We went out to dinner, watched a halloween movie and
Kristi/Hailee Raggity anne's.

We took Seppi to Wheeler farms pumpkin patch and corn maze.

He just took off running. It was so funny when he came to a dead end he just turned around and found different ways to go.
He made it out all on his own!

For FHE one Monday we Painted and carved pumpkins with the
Wray's (wonderful friends of ours!) Seppi had a great time painting. I think he has a little artest in him.

Herman the Worm-man

This morning we had breakfast in bed and Seppi found my little striped socks and made them into puppets! I called them worms - Herman the worm-man! haha. He thought it was pretty funny and so did we! haha.

Seppi has descovered the word NO. Sometimes he says them in a good way like when I try to keep him from things that might hurt him I say "no, no, no" and he'll point at it back and say "no, no, no." To which I say "Yes your right- No, No." But, today at church he decided he didn't want to be held while we sang a hymn and said "NO, NO, NO" really loud. Thats when I tell him he doesn't need to say NO to everything! haha. He learns it from me though, I've got to figure out a different word to use for everything!

Moments I want to remember forever!

- Yesterday I was nannying and Mike was texting me because he was on his lunch break. Seppi grabbed my phone and started playing with it. He plays with my phone all the time so I didn't think much about it. The next thing I hear is my phone making its little jingle that says that a text has just been sent. I took the phone from him and went back to the sent texts and he sent Mike a text that said "HI" I died laughing, he's either super genius or it was a major coincidence. - On mornings that I don't work, Seppi and I watch curious george from 7-7:30 he either snuggles with me and points at the television saying "oo-aa" or he's up in the t.v screen like Lucky on 101 dalamations. - When I nanny and read the other kids stories, Seppi stops playing and comes to sit right by us to join in on the reading. He loves books! - Sometimes Seppi will walk to his room, grab a book from his little shelf, climb on the rocking chair and open the book! I Love finding him like that. -his favorite books these days are "The Very Quiet Cricket" and "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" - He laughs when we sing the Skunk song!! - When we sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" he tries SO HARD to do the actions and he gets really excited. When the song is over we cheer and clap and do it again and again! - Eating dirt! - Sometimes when we have a meal he'll eat more than me, and he doesn't weigh much! Where does he pack it all in? - At night when I fill up his Sippy cup with milk he'll take it and walk to his room and wait for me by the books and rocking chair for our nightly ritual of reading a story and singing a song! -Everytime I fill his sippy cup he stands right next to me and waits very UNPATIENTLY. He says "nigh nigh" over and over. I'm starting to think thats what he calls mild or thats what he associates milk with -going night night. -He points when he sees any bird and laughs when I say "cheep cheep" - Loves airplanes and helocopters, sometimes he sees and hears them before I do. The other day we went to his Dr. appointment at the UofU hospital and Air Med came in really close to land right as we were waiting to get our car. They saw Seppi's big look of awe and his hugely pointed finger, looked down at him and waved to him. Very exciting! - Yesterday Seppi sat in his NEW car seat, he now sits forward and LOVES IT!!! He can now feel the A.C. in his face and he said "wow" when I first put him in. His smile was so big and everytime I looked back he smiled again and again, like "this is so cool!" He is so happy that his legs actually fit on the seat again! He's getting so tall! - I Love it when he'll randomly stop what he's doing and walk over to give me great big hugs and will pat my back while he hugs! He is such a sweet heart! -When we go swimming he looks at Mike's nipples and poke them as if he's saying "dad whats this?" HAHA - He screams when Mike pretends to drop him from his shoulders! - Tries so hard to count 1-2-3 when ever we count with him. Mike will count when they are playing golf, or I count when we play with blocks. - He dances everytime any music turns, he's got great moves! - He clapps his hands whenever he's done dancing or we're done singing or if a commercial or show that we have on has an applause he'll clap with them! - He tries to sing along to the hymns at church, or with me when we sing (which is like all day long!). - He tries to put the phone to his ear and say "HI" all in a whisper! - His favorite toy is a rubber duck! - He takes any small toy and puts it in the little mail slot. He loves playing with that. - He says "uh-oh" whenver he drops things. - He breaths really heavily when he's excited about something! There are so many other things that he does that are so fun and funny! these are just the ones I thought of today!

Memorial Weekend and Bear lake visit!

This last weekend Kristi, Hailee, Seppi and I went up to Bear Lake to visit our other sissy poo who lives there. We walked every morning up through her neighborhood which is up hill and rocky! So tuff! We felt the BURN!! it was a lot of fun.
We also did a craft together, Jami helped us make little church bags and Kristi gave Jami a perm. The kids had a blast. 3 babies all within 6 months of eachother!

Here are the 3 babies! They are so cute! Chelsea (Jami's Baby), Hailee (Kristi's baby), and Jeseppi (my baby)

One morning after our walk it was SO COLD and Seppi and Hailee were just shivering, We gave them a nice warm bath together! I remember having baths with my cousins too when I was little! haha. this is their first one!

Over Memorial weekend we went up to Hooper which is where Kristi is living this Summer and we had a BBQ and rode their horses and played games with my family! We all had a great time. Seppi was a champ on the horse with Mike, HE LOVES ANIMALS.
He was holding on so tight for the first little circle and then loosened up a bit after that! What a fun day!

On Saturday of Memorial Day weekend Mike and I took Seppi up to This is the Place and let Seppi play with the baby animals.
He got to ride a pony and pet a puppy, kitty, baby duck, baby chick, lamb, bunny, piglets, and baby goats! He had a great time and was so happy!
We also rode 2 trains and went into their tipee's. It was So much fun to see him, He is so unafraid of animals, he just wants to love and snuggle them all!
