Moab BABY!

For Mike's (last official) Spring Break we went to Moab and got little cabins in the slick rock campground with our good friends The Mathesis. We did a little mountain biking and a lot of hiking through arches national park.

Delecate Arch. You can't see very well but Mike, Jeseppi and I are all standing underneath this HUGE arch.

We discovered the awesomness of "THE FIREY FURNACE" it is a slott canyon in Arches and its really cool! You seriously can get lost in there. Thanks to Mike's trusty GPS we were never worried that we were going to get lost. There are several canyons you can pick to go through, a lot of little drops and tight squeezes. We saw 3 arches just in that part!

Jeseppi had so much fun, He loved it when the backpack would scratch against the walls on both sides he giggled everytime and ask to do it again and again!
He learned what an arch was he kept naming everything he saw... Arch, Rock, Sand, Fire, Sky, Bird, Sun. etc etc. he's quite the little parrot these days. I LOVE IT!

Sorry these photo's are all out of order! Maybe someday I'll take more time and organize alittle better.

Jeseppi did the double arch hike all by himself, its like a .3 mile hike(no backpack)he loved the sand.

I was so proud of Seppi around the fire, because he knew not to go too close. It was pretty chilly so we had a fire going most of the time we weren't doing something. I hope he remembers how to do that for the many adventures to come this year!

What a great time! I Loved getting away with my family and exploring the beauty of the earth together.

Minute to Win it Birthday HOOPLA!

Mike planned a very fun Birthday celebration for me. There was cake, presents but a little twist.. I was not allowed to open my presents until I completed several Minute to Win it tasks.
I was really worried that I would make a fool of myself and not be able to complete any of them in a minute, but I surprised myself and did pretty good!
I did the cup pyramid, the pop can on it's side, the cookie on the face, I took down a pop can tower with rubberbands, the tissue one, etc.
The ones I COULDN'T do was stack 3 golf balls (I couldn't stack even 2), Mike quickly showed me up! The other one I couldn't do was the spoon on spoon into a jar.. Mike again took the challenge and won it.. I'm telling you he should be on the show! haha. it'd be a quick fix for student loans! haha
anyway it was a lot of fun and I felt loved!

sadly the only pictures we took were that of others trying out the events. I have a few videos of me doing them, but they won't LOAD.. AH MAN.
sorry.

Fun day with Seppi and fun random pictures!

Today I had the WHOLE day with just me and Seppi (which is rare) we went to a play date with some other little friends in the morning.
After his nap we hopped into our snow clothes and enjoyed the amazing warm weather outside! We went sledding in the bowl in the village.. We've been here for almost 5 years and have never gone sledding in the bowl like 20 steps away from our apartment. WHAT?

Seppi loved it! Everytime we went down the hill he said "do it again" "do it again!" He even walked back up the hill all by himself. afterwards we built a family of snow people!!!
GREAT DAY

Cutest picture EVER!

My big boy Loves the water so much, if he's ever fussy I could just throw him in the tub and he'd cheer right up! Look at him wash his hands all by himself!!

We found Seppi in his bedroom tonight playing in his little box from his shelf! what a fun time.

Swimming/a very fun weekend!

Seppi has always LOVED the water, but we just bought him this little flotation device and he can now swim all by himself, this picture depicts him overjoyed!! haha. I was such a proud momma! The last time we took him swimming he was clobbering Mike and I and would not go into his baby floaty, something needed to be done!

Seppi, Grant and Jane testing the waters in the hot tub. (don't judge me!)

Over Presidents weekend The Kinghorn's, The Bassett's and Us (the DePola's) got together for a wonderful weekend full of games, treats, and sick babies. Sadly it was cut short (because of the sick babies) but it is always a pleasure getting together with our wonderful friends from the village!
