HOPPY EASTER!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Holiday.
I Love this time of year. The grass is green, the snow is just about gone, the flowers are popping up and there is blossoms popping right before my eyes! Minus the allergies, its my absolute favorite time of year.
The Easter holiday makes me reflect on my amazing older brother, Jesus Christ, who came to earth a long time ago and made it possible for me to repent of my wrong doings, regain my body and return home to my father in heaven to be with my wonderful family again Forever. What a wonderful and selfless act.
We had a rather busy Easter, but it was spent with family which is always good.
here is Seppi in his Easter outfit (i made the tie!)

Eater Egg hunt at my mom's house. Seppi got so many eggs! When he realized that there were chocolate inside of the plastic egg, he started taking it out putting it in his basket and tossing the egg on the grass again. He's so funny.

Saturday morning, the Easter bunny left our baskets hidden all over our apartment! it was fun looking for it! Mike had to play hot and cold with me, because I'm a bad seeker! ha ha

Seppi got a bubble machine.

At the village there was an easter eggstravaganza! Seppi met the easter bunny, and got his face painted and planted a flower seed and had an egg hunt! we had FUN!!

What a Champ.

So, we finally had Jeseppi's Dr. give us a referral for him to have tubes placed in his ears. We waited over a month to even see the ENT Dr. and from there we scheduled the surgery. I know that this was VERY necessary, but I was really nervous about it. So, we went to the little class they do at the hospital and teach the kids (and parents) what to expect when you come for surgery. Jeseppi got to choose what flavor of medicine they'd put in the anesthetic... GRAPE... out of all the flavors that's what he picked!

They gave him a mask, gloves, a little doll in "special pj's" which he returned when we left.. WHAT A BOY! haha. They gave him the "hat" which is what Seppi calls it. Anyway as someone who at one point in time was going to be these people who gave the class (a child life specialist) I felt that it was a good idea to do this class.

Boy, was I right. Not only did it prepare me, but Seppi was a ROCK STAR at the hospital. He was prepared and happy. Even excited to get his "Grape" Medicine. I was most worried about the hand off... those 3-5 minutes (if that)where the Dr. takes him from us and he went to sleep. He didn't even cry, he didn't even need his blanket "his baby", or his binki... I was completely impressed.

Mike and I waited in the waiting room for MAYBE 20 minutes. I doubt it was even that long and he woke up seconds after they brought him back to Post-op. His nurse was great and Seppi was totally happy just watching Cartoons with us until we left. A lady next to us had a little boy who cried for the entire hour after surgery (also getting tubes). We were so grateful for our little Champ...
Here's to a year or more of NO MORE EAR INFECTIONS!!! Things are looking up!
