Anniversary, Mike's internship and Seppi's Birthday party! 1 year old stats

Last week Mike started his first internship for Physical Therapy, it has been a big change, he is so happy to be out of the books and learning hands on. He has been coming home really tired, learning is a lot of hard work! He is doing a wonderful job and I'm very proud of him. He's interning at RPT in West Jordan, which he's lucky because he worked there as an aide for about 2 years so he knows most of the Therapists well already.

On May 19th it was our Anniversary, I can't believe we've been married for 4 years. We've been together for 9 which is even crazier. I kept thinking about our wedding day and how well everything flowed and how happy we both were and still are. I asked Mike if he still loved me as much as he did on that day and he said "no, I love you so much more!" We've been through a lot together, and I can't wait to see what other adventures come our way. All I know is that I can tackle anything this life brings as long as Mike helps me through it. We make a great team and I Love him more than anything in this world.

On Saturday we had a little family birthday party for Jeseppi! We had a BBQ and cake and icecream and just hung out and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We talked and the kids played for hours on the playground! When Seppi opened his presents he was front and center and he KNEW he had the attention of everybody! He clapped his hands and we all cheered after he opened every present! He sure knows how to please a crowd! It was so much fun! We all had a great time and I am so happy that everything went well and smooth.
I made a cake shaped like a turtle with fondant icing (my very first attempt!) I feel pretty good about it and Seppi sure liked to eat it!

I Love Jeseppi, he is such a great baby, he has been my little pal for one whole year and I wouldn't trade him for anyone or anything else in the world!
Seppi had his 1 year old check up. He's doing great Developmentally right on track if not a little ahead in verbalization. Here are his stats.
Head Cir. = 8th percentile
Weight= 3rd percentile
Height= 75th percentile.
So, he's still tall and skinny! although I think he's even more tall than he was last time. But fitting into the 12 month size clothing so I think he's just right for his age.

Happy Birthday Big Guy!

Jeseppi turned 1 today, he can already put up one finger (although I don't think He means to say he's 1)! All day I've been thinking about what I was doing a year ago and how I was feeling. I can't believe a year has already passed and yet, I can't remember what it was really like without him in my life.
Jeseppi is such a wonderful baby, Mike and I got really lucky! He is generally very happy and easy going, he's the cutest thing I've ever seen! He's smart, good natured, sleeps well, plays well, is actually starting to understand when I need him to stop something he is doing-so obedient, He's starting to learn how to spit things out that he puts in his mouth-which is a big step up from fishing it out of his mouth! He says Mom in the sweetest way! also Says: Dada, bye, hi, woof, oo-oo-ah-ah (like a monkey), amoung many other jabbering that sounds like alien talk- and I LOVE IT!
Jeseppi has a real Love for animals, he loves the way they feel, he loves watching them, he'll snuggle with them IF they'll let him! He has such a tender heart and gives me huge hugs all day long. He'll stop what he's doing for one second to give his momma a hug and then keep playing! I love my little boy with all of my heart and I can't believe he is already 1!
Happy Birthday Big Guy!
(in the picture above Seppi is eating a very special birthday boy breakfast of pancakes with peanut butter and maple syrup, he ate an intire pancake and half of a banana, he just loved it! We sang to him and he thought that was funny too! such a happy little mood he was in this morning.)

bitty baby boo boutique

My 3 sisters and I (Jami Smart, Sabrina Denison, and Kristi Jones) have decided to create a blog of our crafts that we've been making. Mostly it's been the other 3 who have been making crafts gelor for a craft fair. I felt a little left out so at the last minute decided to make a little something to see if it would sell, and if it did than I'd make more and go from there. To my surprise my crafts were a hit (so were everyone else's!) it felt so good to see people look at what I made and think highly of them!
so, Here is my plug to have you go visit the sister's craft blog and see what you think, its brand new and we are trying to figure things out still but take a look!
I make the Quiet Books, pictures below. go to: www.bittybabyboo.blogspot.com to get to the blog! Thank you all so much!

We did it!!!

The triathlon was on Saturday May 1. Kristi (my sister) swam 500 meters, biked 8 miles and ran a 5k at the USU BMtriathlon in Logan Utah. Kristi's husband and in-laws watched our babies and came to cheer us on! It was so much fun to have a small crowd taking pictures and cheering for us. We were so happy everytime we saw them.
I am happy to report that we made it through it all without walking and without coming in very last! Which both were my goals!
Kristi was quite a bit faster than I was at the swim, she totally lapped me! We decided to do the whole thing together though so she transitioned a little slower to the bike and I booked it in the transition to be with her in the bike. I was a little faster at the bike so once I got through the hills I slowed down and let her catch up. Her back brake on her bike was rubbing the back tire, so it made her go a little slower, I am almost positive that she'd be faster than me in the bike too, if it weren't for the brake. The run we were right with eachother till the finish line!
It was so much fun doing my first race with someone else, we didn't care about our time, we just wanted to have fun and we totally did!
We even made a playlist of the same songs for our ipods so we could listen to the same thing at the same time as we biked and ran together, sadly somehow they became out of sink and it didn't workout, it was funny because we knew what eachother was listening to because I was about 3 soungs different from her!
I Love my sissy poo! She really is so much fun and I have so many wonderful memories with her, this is just one of MANY MANY, and many many more to come as well!
I feel so accomplished, my goal this year was to run in a 5k race and here I am doing a triathlon as my first race EVER! thats pretty cool I think! I'm proud of us! haha.
here are a few pictures of the race!
